"Powerful, thought -provoking, meaningful and life-changing ” are just a
few of the words of praise former Unitown students use to describe the experience.  This leadership camp provides a unique opportunity for teens from one high school to develop lasting bonds that tear down prejudice and discrimination.

Goals:

• Develop an understanding of and respect for oneself and others though interactions with persons of different ethnicities, cultures, genders and lifestyles.

• Encourage the acceptance and appreciation of people from different backgrounds in ways, which enhance the co-existence and cooperation within a community.
   
•  Develop an expanded awareness of prejudices and its harmful effects on individuals, groups, and communities.
   
• To realize the impact individuals have on their community.
