Thunderbird boy’s tennis is anticipating another successful year after coming off of a 10-4 record last year and advancing to the quarter finals in the team state tournament.  Last year, freshman Jason Jaruvangsanti won the individual regional tournament and received honors as the region champion.  Thunderbird moves to a new region this year but is still expected to be at the top of their region with many returning players.

Tryouts for the boy’s tennis team begins February 8^th.  All students wanting to participate need to be cleared through the athletics office by turning in their completed physical papers and watching the sports injury video.  Practice begins at 3:00 on the tennis courts.
