Lara Fitzgerald is entering her 16th year of teaching in the Glendale Union High School District.  This will be her first year as a Thunderbird Chief.  She is a member of both the Foreign Language Department as well as the Language Arts Department.  This year she will be teaching Spanish 1-2, 3-4 and Yearbook Publications.  Aside from her work at Thunderbird, she will be part of the Professional Negotiations Team and District Advisory Committee. 

Lara is a graduate from Washington High School, received her bachelor's degree from University of Arizona and her Master's Degree from Arizona State University West.  She also enjoys traveling to Spanish speaking countries as often as she can to continue her education in Spanish.
