On 20 September, THS NJROTC participated in the Southwest Armed Forces Raider and Drill Meet (SWARM) hosted by Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, Arizona.  14 of Arizona's top  Army, Navy, and Air Force JROTC programs met to compete in an epic showdown.  The teams competed in 11 drill categories, as well as 5 athletic events.  When the day was over, your THS NJROTC cadets scored trophies in almost every drill category, including First Place Overall Armed Drill,  First Place in Armed Exhibition, First Place Unarmed Exhibition, and Second Place Unarmed Inspection.

Cadet Aiden Anderson placed second overall in the Armed Solo category, and Armed Team Commander Abraham Nibbe scored first place in Armed Solo.  Cadet Axel Willeford scored third place out of 300 cadets in the infamous All Hands Drill Down.

Our Raider team, under the command of cadet Abigail Whitmore, scored second place in the Casualty Evacuation category.
