Thunderbird Earns an “A” Rating

We are proud to announce that Thunderbird High School has once again earned an “A” rating from the Arizona State Board of Education! This achievement reflects our continued commitment to academic excellence and preparing every student for success in college, career, and life.

Arizona’s school letter grades are based on multiple measures of student achievement and growth, including academic performance, progress toward graduation, and college and career readiness. At Thunderbird, students can challenge themselves through rigorous coursework, Dual Enrollment, Advanced Placement, Career and Technical Education, and other programs that build the knowledge and skills they need for the future.

This accomplishment is made possible by the dedication of our students, teachers, staff, families, and community partners. Their commitment to learning, collaboration, and student success helps create an environment where students can explore their interests, reach their goals, and realize their potential.

We are proud to be part of the Glendale Union High School District, where all nine comprehensive high schools have once again earned “A” ratings. Congratulations to our Thunderbird community on this achievement!
