NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY - Attention all sophomores and juniors. NHS is beginning its membership selection process for the 2019-2020 school year. If you have a cumulative, unweighted GPA of 3.5 or weighted 4.0 or higher and are NOT currently a member of NHS, you should receive a membership eligibility notice and instructions this week. KEY CLUB - Key Club will be hosting a "Book Drive", during the Month of February, to benefit UMOM New Day Center, helping homeless families get a fresh start. Many of their families don't have much and a book can be the best way to spend time together. Please consider donating the books you loved as a child and have since outgrown, or you can purchase a few books to donate. If your homeroom teacher doesn't have a donation box, see Mr. Vega in H-108 or Ms. Roberts in the front office. (Vega) 2/6, 2/7, 2/8

BASEBALL- Attention Baseball players - tryouts for all levels continues on the Varsity baseball field from 3-6pm. If you’re a winter sports athlete come out today and tomorrow (Friday). (Jacobs) 2/4, 2/5, 2/6, 2/7

DECA- All DECA members who have signed up for State Competition. Remember You will need to take the test Monday or Tuesday. Everyone attending state must test. Also, long sleeve shirts are in if you would like to purchase one. Finally, all DECA members set aside March 15th in your calendar for an exciting event. More information to come. TRACK - Attention Track athletes: The track season has started and we will be meeting everyday after school in the Practice Gym at 2:50 to start practice. Make sure that you have clicked "Track and Field" on "Register My Athlete." See you there! (Riney) 2/5, 2/6, 2/7

OUTDOORS CLUB - Take a hike with the Outdoors Club. The Outdoors Club will be hiking the Coachwhip, Ridgeline, and Sunrise Trails in the Thunderbird Conservation Park this Friday at 3:30 PM. The trailhead is located on the West side of 59th Avenue between Deer Valley and Pinnacle Peak Roads. All students, faculty, and staff are welcomed. Students, please pick up a permission slip in Mr. Smith's room H200 and have it ready before attempting the hike. (Smith) 2/6, 2/7, 2/8
