
This weekend, your Thunderbird NJROTC Chiefs DOMINATED at the West Mitchell Workman Drill Tournament. In a Field of 19 JROTC Schools from all branches of the military (Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines) and all over the state, Thunderbird NJROTC swept the field, scoring the following victories:
2nd place 10 person Armed Exhibition
1st place 4 person Unarmed Exhibition
1st place 10 pax Unarmed Exhibition
2nd place 4 pax Armed Exhibition
1st place 10 pax Unarmed Regulation
The Captains of each team were also graded on their uniform, knowledge, and how well they called their commands, and the Thunderbird leaders also set the standard:

1st place 4 person unarmed exhibition commander- C/ Charlotte McPhee Gillum
1st place 10 person unarmed regulation commander - C/ Amayah Begay
2nd place unarmed exhibition commander- C/ Hannah Wendler
In a field of over 200 cadets in the unarmed Drill Down, Thunderbird showed their superior skills by scoring:

Thunderbird NJROTC also won the tournament overall award, which included a check for $300 dollars. WELL DONE CHIEFS!!!
