VALLEY TEEN LEADERSHIP

Valley Teen Leadership
Valley Leadership needs your help in identifying your best teen leaders to offer them the opportunity to participate in Valley Teen Leadership (VTL) Class 15!

What is Valley Teen Leadership?

VTL is a highly interactive, four-month program that instills leadership skills and an awareness of community needs in emerging youth leaders from around the Valley. Fifty teens are selected annually; to date, over 700 teens have graduated from the program.  The mission of VTL is “to enhance the abilities and desire of our youth to passionately serve and strengthen our communities.”

When does the program meet?

The VTL program days are scheduled on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., meeting every other week beginning the end of January, through end of April, 2011.

What happens at the program days?

Program days are designed with a combination of team-building exercises, experiential learning, and dialogue with community leaders or service providers who serve as role models.
